Only joking, we have decided we want to live on a narrowboat from this epic experience. The boat was beautiful, perfectly laid out, clean and well presented, had everything we needed and more. The support Nikki and Andy gave us before and after was invaluable and we will definitely be utilising their wealth of knowledge. Thank you for trusting us with you pride and joy!!

My son and myself have enjoyed the most amazing week on the lovely Kings Landing narrow boat starting a couple of weeks ago

Having never piloted a narrow boat especially a sixty foot one before the experience Andy afforded me gave me the confidence I needed.

Nothing was to much trouble until he was satisfied he could let me go it alone 👍

The moment we boarded Kings Landing the standard of presentation, details and preparation was exceptional.

It immediately felt like being in a home rather than a hire craft.

The layout, level of equipment and handover from the owners could not be faulted.

They were caring, thoughtful and happy to help in any way they could. They insisted on ensuring the lifejackets for the children were personally adjusted and fitted by them.

The boat’s ambience, comfort and ease of use made our time on the canals an outstanding experience, it was an idyllic, peaceful and relaxing time.

We cannot praise Andy highly enough. He has transformed our boat, installing a webasto heating system, a new water tank, and building us a brilliant extendable bed frame amongst many other important tasks. He has given us so much guidance along the way and turned our boat into a real home. His work is to an excellent standard, and as a Boat Safety examiner, we felt ensured that safety was an absolute priority in everything he does. He truly went above and beyond to help us, and is generous with his knowledge, time and energy. Thank you so much Andy for making our boat dream a reality!

This was our 3rd time on a boating weekend as 2 couples and the best boat by far. Andy and Nikki are very welcoming and relaxed. They have thought of everything, from the design and decor to the note pads, books, games and toiletries. Not to mention the well equipped kitchen and Netflix. The little extra touches were well thought out and very appreciated. We will definately be hiring again from them and i can not recommend them highly enough.

Massive thanks again to Nikki & Andy, our second visit which speaks for itself I suppose!

Everything about the holiday was perfect, great communication from the outset even down to the direction of travel, seamless handover with them both waiting to greet us (lovely touch) and away we went.

We were relaxed from the moment we set foot aboard, everything was perfect, as perfect as it was the first time we hired, it’s floating 5***** accommodation. We were left wanting for nothing as everything was provided, the only thing lacking was time, a second week would have been lovely but can’t blame Nikki and Andy for that!!

Bring on our next trip.

We hired Kings Landing from Nikki and Andy for 4 nights over Easter Weekend, after a not so positive experience with a different hire company last year.

I will admit I was a little anxious – but any worries or concerns that this would also not be a great experience vanished as soon as we arrived.

Nikki and Andy are so helpful, accommodating and flexible – nothing is too much trouble. And Kings Landing itself is luxury on a scale I had not anticipated.

Everything has been thought of and everything you could need is provided, it was all there.

We had an absolutely fantastic long weekend, and would recommend Nikki Andy and Kings Landing in a heartbeat!

Book before all the dates are gone… you will not regret it

Stunningly beautiful and comfortable boat, an absolute treat. Nothing like previous narrow boat rentals, this is a new standard of quality and comfort. Thank you Nikki and Andy, spot on. We will certainly repeat.

We had the BEST time!!!

WOW, what an amazing time we had onboard the Kings Landing canal boat, we had never done this before, but with such a great welcome and instruction from Andy and Nikki we slipped into Canal boating life very easily. The boat itself was Luxury with a capital L, with all the luxuries of home, even WiFi which my daughter was extremely pleased about. The experience of just chugging along at a slow pace looking at areas that you always pass in your car but dont give them a second thought, but now we were seeing them from a different angle which was great. The time went super quick, so next time we will be booking it for a longer period. This definitely needs to be added to your “bucket list”. Thanks Andy and Nikki
